In order for Humanity to evolve, we each need to apply ourselves and evolve as individuals. In order to do so, we must acknowledge and understand the dynamics that serve as blocks in that process. Habitually assigning blame or generating excuses keep us anchored in a state of stagnation. This denies ourselves the potency of our own personal power as we attempt to shift the responsibility to a source outside of ourselves.
Currently, our cultural climate is largely that of blame and excuses. There is a narrative generating a massive following, where conclusively, everyone involved is stuck in a loop because their focus is outside of themselves. This dynamic is not new, and ironically, it is that very fact that is being used to provoke emotional charge in todays people. Standing in opposition to an existence they do not want only serves to revive and amplify it by engaging in it at all. And as long as any one person or group of people is in a place of blaming another, they simply will not move forward. It is imperative that we recognize this cycle and not sign up to fuel it.
Perhaps, as an individual, this is not the case in terms of engaging in the larger dynamic. Therefore, it is valuable to apply accountability in the ways there may be a parallel. Since blame and excuse making are so prevalent in the collective, it may be present for you on a lesser scale. Do not allow the fact that you may not align with the masses to blind you to the ways that you may be engaging in the same behavior.
Blaming or making excuses creates conflict within oneself. We are not in ultimate truth when doing so. It is better to simply state “I didn’t want to” in response to evading presence rather than searching for reasons to justify that choice. At least then we are in a position of truth.
A higher integrity is intentionally choosing our actions to be in service to the greater good. Ask yourself if what you are doing is in alignment with that and continue to pose the question. You only have control of what you put out. How it is received is beyond you. Living in service to the greater good has the ability to fill your spirit and encourages an expanded state. Feeling attachment to the outcome of what you create will likely serve as a weight and can create a trap.
People are struggling and the hits will, quite likely, keep coming. In order to evolve as individuals, we must seek to maintain personal balance and keep moving forward for the greater good. We will be tested in doing so. Be conscious of what is moving you out of balance and own the ways that, only you, can regain that position. Don’t forget to celebrate your achievements and efforts and never forget to love yourself. Doing the noble thing is not the easy way, but it is, ultimately, the most rewarding.
